Programs

Sherwood Early Learning & Childcare uses the Alberta Flight Framework to guide our child-led and play-based learning model. The Reggio Emilia programs of Italy will also be drawn as the programs inspiration, with a strong focus on creative process art and project-based emergent learning in all domains. Sherwood Early Learning & Childcare believe children are mighty learners and promote freedom of self-determination in every day choice activities, within a safe framework of inclusive care.

12 to 18 months (Infant)
Our infant program is designed to introduce young children to the joys of learning in a fun and interactive way. Through play-based activities and guided exploration, we aim to foster their curiosity and imagination, preparing them for the next stages of their childhood development.

19 months to 2.11 months

(Toddlers)
We focus on providing a supportive and enriching environment where children can develop essential skills and build confidence. Our curriculum is designed to encourage social interaction, cognitive development, and school readiness, laying a strong foundation for their future learning.

3 to 6 years old (Preschooler to Kindergarten)
Our transitional kindergarten class bridges the gap between preschool and kindergarten, offering a program that nurtures each child's individual abilities and prepares them for a smooth transition to formal schooling. We provide a blend of structured learning and creative exploration to ensure holistic development and a love for learning.
